We've decided to have our first ever Halloween contest! It's similar to the holiday decorating contest that we had last year. (Oh, I was mistaken, we had a contest last year. Mrs.DG started it. http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/halloween-costume-contest)
You can post your pictures here on this thread or if you want to be really nice. You can submit your pictures to yrret107.weddingbee (at) gmail (dot) com by Sunday, November 6th.
The hostesses will vote on all of the entries and the top 10 or so entries will be posted for the whole hive to vote. (Depends on the number of entries we get.)
The winner of each category will win a prize. (Prizes TBD)

We may break the categories up, if we get a ton of entries for one specific category. Oh, and to be fair, we won't allow members to win more than one prize.
Once again, please post or submit photos by Sunday, November 6th.
Oh, please be nice and don't post a thousand pictures of your pumpkin. 1 (large) or 2 (small) pictures of each specific category is fine. Remember, I have take screenshots of the entries. It would really help me out if you follow these guidelines.

Could've sworn we had this contest last year, too. I submitted a pic of my daughter and was told all the kids won because they were all so cute (plus there weren't that many entered). I was told I'd receive a WB t-shirt as a prize, but I never did. 
@AudzinLuv: Hmm, I totally forgot about that. Mrs.DG started last year's contest. Let me contact her and I'll find out about your t-shirt.
@yrret107: Yeah, after exchanging several PMs with Mrs. DG (Vicki) ---the last one she sent was in mid Dec. saying she was still checking on it--- I decided to just let it go, lol, because I didn't want to fuss over a free t-shirt. I'll still enter this year's contest though. 
Cant wait to enter my baby girls photo in this contest! She is going to be a b.. Nevermind, it will be a suprise!

@yrret107: and @AudzinLuv: I won the Christmas Contests and never got my t-shirt either. I asked once and was told it was being shipped that week. When I didn't receive it, I just let it go.
oh wow!!!! exciting! I will see what I can dig up. I'm unprepared for this halloween, hopefully there's another one next year and I can really try to win!

I paper mached my pumpkin with leopard print gift tissue paper.
This is my homemade loofah costume... complete with bubbles and bubble earings. I also carried around a bottle of blowing bubbles :D
Haha, I was Minnie Mouse last year (not a slutty version, I made my own costume).
I'll be busy getting married and having a honeymoon that week though... so no costumes or decorations this year! :D
This is RIGHT up my alley. My fiancee and I just went to an event in Downtown Fort Myers, FL called Zombicon. It commemorates the anniversary of Dawn of the Dead, which was filmed there. Every year, everyone dresses up as zombies and there is always a theme. This years theme was "Old Hollywood Never Dies". I went as Gypsy Rose Lee (the famous burlseque performer) and FI went as Charlie Chaplin.
I made both costumes myself and did all the makeup and hair :)

Oh bugger and I just decided to forgo my costume this year due to financial/time restraints. Ah well, I shall enjoy browsing this year's entries! Best of luck Bees! :o)
This was FI's pumpkin, he re-created the one from last year because I was so sad I couldn't keep it, haha! It was how he proposed to me =)
This is so much fun!
SO and I created "tombstones" for Harry Potter's parents and Peter Parker's (Spiderman's) uncle, and I also carved a Batman-themed pumpkin!
I love Halloween!
Really great pics so far everyone! Ok, here's a few zombie bride and groom pics of my DH and I for the Costume Contest. We did this for a Zombie Walk this year and a pic of us actually appeared on our local news station's website.

@girlygirl885: Great pumpkin! I love it. I wish I was talented enough to carve something like that.
Here's my baby mermaid! A family friend and I made everything and it took close to forever but it was so worth it!

@tinnker- A couple hours a day almost everyday for about two weeks. I LOVE it :)
