I love the Steelers.

My college team is University of Kentucky, so basketball season is my favorite college season. I just cheer for the SEC during football season. We have a new coach and recruiting seems to be going fairly well, so maybe by next year, UK could claw itself to the middle of the SEC east.

After a long summer of baseball (which I do like), I am ready for the leaves to turn, the air to get crisp, and football to start.

Yay!!!

New England Patriots all the way baby!

I am engaged to a football player/high school football coach…..and sadly my football knowledge still needs help, because up until he came along I practically knew nothing about football. I am in a fantasy league with him and some friends this year but im going to need all the help I can get!

This isnt realy a football tradition….but its a sunday football tradition in our home…..we do the laundry on sundays, make a mountain of clothes on the sofa to get folded, get some beers, some snacks, and fold the laundry during the game. This used to be what my dad did on sudnays when I was growing up, it was my moms requirement if he was going to be stuck in front of the tv all day, might as well do something useful too lol…..so the sunday laundry/football tradition stuck when I grew up and moved out.

1) My Pro team is the MN Vikings (grew up watching them, and FI is a HUGE fan)! I am also a fan of my college alum – North Dakote State University (NDSU). They’ve won the FCS championship game the last 3 years, which is pretty exciting when they just became eligible to compete at that level 4 years ago. Go Bison!!!

2) I would love to, but am already in a couple leagues. I’m hoping to actually win this year, as I placed 2nd last year – but had the best record! However, what site is used?

3) For NDSU games, we tailgate prior to the game (food, drinks, chatting up friends/family). If they’re away and it’s on TV, we’ll gather at someone’s house and watch with a big group of people. It’s the same sometimes for Vikings games – either watch at our house on Sundays (while doing laundry), or go to a friends if it’s a later Sunday game or during the week.

Such a cool thread! Perfect timing too, thanks OP!

1. Favorite Pro Football Team: Philadelphia Eagles. Bleed Green!!! E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!

2. Usually join a FFT with some sorority sisters each year. My participation has been dwindling due to being so busy and now planning a wedding.

3. No set football tradition, but I usually wake up, read the local paper to see what the Eagles are looking like for that Sunday, turn on the AM/Pre Football coverage and watch all day long with food & snacks in my woman cave. It’s my favorite day off in all of Fall/Winter!

theEguarantee: Holly Robinson Peete wrote a great football book for women. I think it’s called, “Get Your Own Damn Beer, I am Watching the Game.” Explains the rules really well and is entertaining. It definitley focuses on the Pro game. There are some differences in the college game.

I’m a Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns fan! I’d love to play fantasy!
We don’t really have any traditions. But yummy food and yelling at a tv screen sound pretty good to me!

I also like the Steelers/Bengals games. I also like it when the Colts and NE have to play, but now that Peyton isn’t a Colt, they aren’t as much fun. I haven’t checked to see if they meet in the regular season. I’d also like to see Denver/New England. I just want to see Peyton and Brady!

Packers all the way!

I’m already in two fantasy leagues this year so between my two and my husbands three, we can’t afford any more.

No real traditions. I normally just make yummy food and we park it on the couch all day.
