lol - I had posted a response on the other thread about how I hoped I would still be awake when the poll was up on WB, then I found this thread. Hello, I should have looked for it first :P
I voted. As much as I like "Dear John" I didn't vote for it as I've already read it (and every other Nicholas Sparks book). If it's chosen I'll read it again though :)
I chose my pick as it's a book that I probably wouldn't read on my own. I may read some of the ones we don't choose, as they sound good also!

anyway...i voted firefly lane since i bought it and have been meaning to read it. ive read "dear john" and i absolutely loved it! (but im soooo disappointed in the actors theyve picked for the movie!)
"the notebook" is a good romance, especially if you follow with the sequel: "the wedding" (:

I'll join in! I haven't read Dear John - looks like that's a winner! I did read Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society - definitely a great story! I highly recommend it :) I voted for Kristen Hannah's Firefly Lane, as I haven't read it yet.

Yay!! I just found this thread and I'd like to join! I'm going to go out and get this book today! When do we begin? how does it work?
Good! I read this book already, but will read it again for sure! :) Plus, I'm really excited to see the movie! We could compare the book to the movie too?
@MrsK2be- We begin asap, and we'll do a check-in next Wednesday! Go ahead and read the first 3 chapters, and we'll go from there. Make sure you write down any topics for discussion and any questions that you may have ;]

I went to walmart earlier to try to get it, but the didn't have it at all! I couldn't believe it! Guess I'll have to go to target this weekend...

I just finished listening to Dear John on cd. I drive a lot for work so it was a good one to listen to. I loved that one!
