That's adorable! That guy is a gem to put so much time and work into the proposal. He must have come in handy during the wedding planning haha! :)
Um... I've thought about it, but I honestly don't have a "dream" way to be proposed to. I just want him to ask! I don't care how it happens particularly. We're both outdoorsy, so it might happen on a hike or something. But then maybe he'll think I'll suspect that... so who knows. The one thing I don't want is for it to be all public and in front of the world. That might be for some people, but not me... I need a little privacy, ya know? :)
Oh... and I don't know about you, but in my "proposal dreams", I get really scared about getting too excited and knocking the ring out of his hands and it getting lost or broken or something!
Crazy? Anyone else have that irrational fear too??
@piglet - my husband proposed on the bank of a river, so close that if I'd jumped into a hug too forcefull we would have fallen right in! HE said he'd worried about the ring dropping into the water, but he planned to toss it towards me on the bank if he'd lost his balance :)
If my FI did that AND I got to keep the horse, I would be a happy camper :) I might prefer the horse to the ring! ( I kid, I kid).
I didn't have a dream proposal..hadn't really thought too much about it, but I knew I wanted to be surprised. Which he accomplished x 100--I had no clue what was going on.
I sometimes consider telling him to just buy the pony but I don't think he'd take that too well 
Heyyy....WAIT a minute!! I think we all just got punked! Did you guys read the fine print?? That wasn't an actual proposal. It was a "fantasy proposal" scene created/produced/styled (by that guy the "chicks" were talking about), just to be photographed. Argh! I mean, it's fantastic... but for a minute there I was pretty much deceived into thinking that I ought to raise the bar a little as to what I should expect! Although technically... a man did come up with that. For the sake of art, but still.
That does it. I'm now expecting a horse.
HA piglet_625 I totally worry about knocking the ring out of his hand too! I have very simple dreams for a proposal... just him on his knee with a smile and a "marry me?" ... sigh... waiting
It's very pretty but I'm so tired of all of these stylized shoots on wedding blogs. I don't want to see things that were put together by professional stylists and models. I want to see REAL people having REAL moments.

I dont really fantasise about how the boy will propose - I just hope he does! Although having it written on cupcakes ALWAYS seemed like a great idea to me - a ring AND cupcakes? Awesome.

I have a few ideas on how I think he'll do it and my friends have been asking me how I want him to do it. I honestly don't care. We met at a baseball game, and are huge fans so we go a lot. So I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't it there. But he usually isn't that public of a person, so it doesn't seem like he would do it in public. I can also see him doing it very casually at home when I'm not expecting it.
Public, private, planned or spontanious - it doesn't matter at all to me as long as I get to spend my life with the man I love.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who has fears of knocking the ring out of his hand haha. I always loved the idea of getting engaged on a hike or doing something outdoorsy. That just defines us so well, plus it would be somewhere gorgeous. Knowing him though he'll do something completely different just to throw me off.
I don't really care how he does it, just as long as he does!...I have of course thought about it, however...
I'm a photographer and shoot a lot of sports (my favorite is football, but I shoot for the Atlanta Braves AAA team too), so I've always kind of thought it would be cute to have me shooting a game and then him surprise me at the game (he doesn't normally come to games when I'm shooting since I can't sit with him or anything) and either flash it on the big screen or just kneel down on the side of the field. I really don't care if anyone sees us b/c I'll probably jump him right then and there no matter who's watching. ;) lol!
No dream proposal, like someone already said I just want him to propose but if he did it on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue next week while in my home state I would loose my mind!
Its funny how one girls dream proposal can be anothers nightmare...if a pony was at my proposal..i would have FREAKED...they scare me...:p
On a side not i did not have a dream proposal...but the one I DID get...i wouldnt change for the world (champagne on top of a rock in the middle of waterfall in my hometown anyone?!!) :)
