YAY! We engaged!
We had been chilling out all morning going for walks and being all lovey dovey and then we went down to the dam and just grabs my hand to hold even though he had his hands full. “what the heck is that, is that flowers.” comes out of my mouth. When we got closer and there was a rug, pillows, candles, roses and petals with some food and moet. I was thinking yeah right till I saw the photo of us and then got down on his knee and asked him to marry him. Course I said yes!! And gave him a huge hug and then he put it on my shaky finger
A couple of mins after his sister rocked up, she had driven the whole way down and set it up for him and then took some nice pics of us. It still hasn’t set in! Wholly sht!

Beautiful pictures and beautiful ring!!
Also… is that a kangaroo?! Do they just… hop up to you like that? I am scared sh*tless of kangaroos for some reason, lol.

Amazing!! Very sweet congratulations!! That is so beautiful. You both look SO happy!!
@howsweetitis: You made me burst out laughing – you are so cute. They can just hop up, depending how friendly they are. In a lot of wildlife parks here in Australia often they are so used to people they just lie around and let you pat them. You wouldn’t want to get too close to the native big ones though because they could knock you over if they felt threatended! The one in the photo looks a bit smaller – so possibly even a wallaby…

@Shonzilla: first – congratulations, what romantic and thoughtful proposal! your ring is fabulous, can you tell us more about it?
and second – part of me loves the idea of kangaroos, but the second batch of photos makes me SO nervous – it’s like your fiance is just chilling in a town full of furry dinosaurs! also – i’m quite small so i’d be about the same height as that tall one, which FREAKS me out :/ hahah
