Everyone said they had a great time between the cabins, whitewater rafting, 80's rehearsal and dinner, yummy food, fun music (I tried to get couples' special songs to play at the reception), and watching McGroom and I. We were giddy!
Big congrats!!! I'm sorry to hear that not everything went as you'd planned, but you look beautiful in your wedding photos, and I just love your rehearsal outfit! :)
CONGRATULATIONS!!! You all look like you had a fun time. I love the 80's rehearsal dinner ;)
congrats!! I'm randomly curious- how come you think no one used the fauxto booth? i'm considering doing one but am worried no one will use you. Your group looks fun and outgoing, im surprised it wasnt used!
@July: In all my rush to leave on Friday for the cabins, I forgot my camera, so I was going to use someone else's. Most importantly, I forgot to make a sign so people knew what it was. McGroom also set up everything and I didn't see the set up until we were at the reception. I still have no idea where it was, however everything else looked fantastic, so I'm not that worried about it.
@cola: I'm starting to get over the officiant being so late because everyone I hear from (except the drama filled family members) were really happy with everything and loved how our wedding was so us.
@baldor1: I'm going through 4 CDs of pictures now and I can't wait to see more of the rehearsal.
@mishelleez: Those cakes were delicious and the set up was all McGroom. He also finished the cake topper when I gave up on it.
Thanks for all the nice comments. I can't wait to finish going through the pro ones and show those.
Looks great and it looks like you guys had fun, which is most important. Sorry about your officant troubles.
Sorry your officiant was late, but it looked like you and McGroom were very happy, and it looks like everyone had a great time! You cakes are marvelous!! Wow,-what a job!! And you and McGroom are married!!! Congratulations!!! :)
Congratulations! You looked amazing and I love your cake and cake topper so much. I'm so sorry it didn't turn out quite how you planned but it looks like it was a really gorgeous and fun event. I love that you tried to include people's special songs. That's so sweet and something I think I'll be needing to copy.
Congrats! Beautiful pics. I'm so glad everybody had a great time!!
Just to be clear, we made the cake topper, not the cake. I guess it's an ambiguos sentence. Sorry for any confusion.
And here's a professional shot. I've got 4 cds worth of pictures, so there'll be a lot more.

Oh my goodness your wedding looks like so much fun! I love how the pictures can just show the emotions!
I can't wait to show a full picture of my dress by our photographer, so here's one from my new sister. My dress was bought at the Kleinfeld's Blowout Sale in April. It's a Alita Grahm Kleinfeld Kollection and, although I wasn't in love, the more I look at my dress, the more I LOVE it. This dress was my dress and I'm so glad I din't follow my second thoughts about it.

P.S. The person in the gray dress on the side is my mother in the dress I picked out for her and she loved. She would've never put it on otherwise, but she felt happy in it and behaved herself.
love the picture!! sorry everything didnt turn out as planned but it still looks like awseome fun!
I still have tons of pictures to go through, but I wanted to share these. They're all done by Sutphin Studios (she's awesome!)
These are our bubbles in their holders. McHusband drilled and cut the holders.

The bottom of my bouquet with our rings on it. My bouquet had the blue pearl made by SissiePretties on Etsy and my Moose necklace I always wear for our Angel Baby, Moose.

PhotoBombing Bride with my Dad and our friend, Pat

Claiming my Man. This is one of my favorites. P.S. The ring is already lost in the ocean :) haha

My sweet Kleinfeld's Kollection Alita Grahm dress. I LOVE my dress! Oh, and my clay flowers made by me and I made my veil. (P.S. I played with the colors on this picture. If the look bad, my photographer had nothing to do with it.)

And lastly (for now) McHusband's phone ringing as we're getting handfasted. He had the ringer on so the late officiant could call and forgot to turn it off. It was so funny.

And here's two of our engagement photos. My Dad has the CDs, so I don't have them, but check out McHusband's long hair. He cut it for the wedding back to his normal legnth.(P.S. These were taken in our backyard)

Congrats!! You are positively glowing in every. single. picture. Must mean you had a great time!
Thanks! Knittting and Husky!I had a great time and, even with the late officiant, I think about the fun and love before anything else.
I have so many more pictures I need to post too because I want to show off my DIY stuff like my clay bouquets!
Beautiful, beautiful pro shots! I love the look on your face in the shot with the phone ringing!
These are some beautiful pictures. It seems like despite everything you both still had fun. And you look crazy in love so that all that matters at the end of the day.
You look so beautiful and happy! Congrats :) I especially love the 80s rehearsal dinner idea!

Nothing turned out as planned, but we're married and that's what I'm trying to remember. So I could go into the details of how no one used my I Spys, bubbles, fauxto booth, or various other things, but all in all those don't hold a candle to the fact our officiant was 45 minutes late. Yeah. She ruined all the plans I had made as to how the day would run and I wasn't able to get a lot of pictures I wanted. People were angry, but there was nothing we could do at that point. I try to think of it this way: I'm married (as long as she actually files the paperwork) *crossing my fingers*
It was fun and the weekend was great(whitewater rafting, 80's themed rehearsal, great food, extraoridinary friends). So here's some pictures from our friends. The professioanl ones should come today.
1980's Nerd and Prom Queens Themed Rehearsal Dinner (McGroom and I are at the bottom)
Me in my 80's Glory:
Our delicious cake and the topper made by McGroom and I:
My Posse
Walking back up the aisle to "500 Miles" (you know "and I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more just to be the man who walked a 1,000 miles to fall down at your door," we asked everyone to be creative coming back up the aisle)
McGroom and I at dinner (no apron and I surprisingly got nothing on me) and my clay flower bouquet is on the table laying down too.
And finally a group shot of our bridal party and a lot of our family
