I have never been pregnant, however, lots of my closest friends have had a few little ones! I don’t think you’ll be showing at all (or not enough to notice) but everyone is different. You are probably safe! Most of my friends weren’t showing until 16 weeks +, usually closer to 20 weeks before there was a really noticable baby bump!

But more importantly, CONGRATS!!!!

Well, every woman and every pregnancy is different but I can say that I didn’t start showing until about 16 weeks. I had a very tiny belly at 16 weeks. Before that I wasn’t showing at all. Of course, then I exploded into a mountain in the following months, lol! I think at 10 1/2 weeks you’ll be fine. Congratulations!

I am 8 weeks right now, and not showing at all. Whatsoever.

Ooooh, congratulations!!  You probably won’t be showing enough for anyone to notice.  Is your dress really fitted?

I didn’t start showing until 16-18 weeks, but it’s different for everyone. It depends on your build, how tall you are, your ab muscles, etc etc. I have a neighbor that’s on her 4th, and she didn’t start showing with this one until around 7 or 8 months. She’s very tall and thin, and very in shape. I’m petite and thin (but not so much in shape) and have a shortish torso, so there’s no where for the baby to really go but out.

But in any case, you should be fine at 10 1/2 weeks. If you have a bump at all, it will likely be more bloat than anything, and I found it very easy to conceal my pregnancy until about 16 or 17 weeks.

ETA: Oh, and Congratulations!

What an exciting time! I am 12 weeks and started really showing about 2 weeks ago, but I am still hiding it in flowy tops and baggier outfits at work. What does your dress look like?

You might have some water weight/bloating, so that may impact the fit of your dress. But, you shouldn’t be showing in a noticeable “is she pregnant?” kind of way!

The ruching will help, too, if you are showing a wee bit and/or are a little bloated.

FWIW, I am almost 20 weeks and barely have a bump.  🙂

Congratulations! Your dress is gorgeous and I don’t think you should have any problem fitting into it. I didn’t start to show until about 25 weeks and at 10.5 weeks, I was definitely not showing in the least, other than a growing chest A lot of people get bloated in the first trimester but I never did. I also drank 4 liters of water per day so I think that helped. You should be fine though, and what an exciting time for you!

I don’t think you will be showing at all. I was pregnant with twins and my very observant high school students didn’t notice until I was 15 weeks.
