Ah! I am so excited. We booked our honeymoon today! St. Lucia baby! I originally was going to book through Expedia or something similar but with FI’s AAA membership we decided to see if we could get a good deal. The price was about what I found online and we got transfers to and from the airport. At the same time we got a credit card with travel points which was a plus!
Any tips on fun stuff to do in St. Lucia. We are thinking zip-lining, snorkling, Fiance really wants to do a jeep trip, and who knows what else. We aren’t the type to just sit on the beach, although we’ll probably do a little of that. We are staying at Ti Kaye Village, which is small and secluded but it looks romantic and very honeymoonish. Anyone stay there?
Only 73 days until the wedding and 75 until the honeymoon!

Sounds wonderful !!
Hubby and I will be on a cruise for our Honeymoon with a stop in St Lucia, our intention is to take a boat trip to see the Pitons, and do some snorkelling.
As someone who is a bit of a travel nut, let me give you some free advice to improve your Honeymoon Plans…
1- Do some research / reading on the Destination… start with something as simple as Wikipedia for a general backgrounder
2- Get yourself a good Travel Guide Book (lots of companies, available on-line or at your local bookstore)
3- Check out the St Lucia Tourism Office on-line, and contact them as well… they’ll have tons of great info, and can send you brochures, maps etc
4- Check out TripAdvisor on-line (the world’s foremost authority in on-line travelling planning)… you’ll find Hotel Reviews, Restaurant Reviews, Things to Do Reviews etc. As well as helpful locals and frequent visitors on their Forums who can answer your Questions and give you TIPS… stuff that other Travellers just won’t find out (example when we were in St Thomas last year, we went to a fantastic beach that wasn’t busy for some excellent snorkelling while the rest of the folks on our cruise, went to the busier beaches and spent 2 to 3 times as much to go snorkelling in an area where there was less sealife to see)
And remember, the more you read, the more you’ll know ahead of time, to make great choices… so consequently the better the honeymoon you’ll have
And my last piece of advice (having been marrie before) is to tell EVERYONE on your Honeymoon that you are Newlyweds… people just naturally LOVE to see a couple in LOVE celebrating that commitment… so consequently you’ll end up with lots of FREEBIES or Upgrades, and great experiences that others might not have happen to them

Would LOVE it if you shared more details !! And I am sure so would some other Bees… there have been quite a few posts of late with Brides-2-B looking at St Lucia as a Honeymoon Destination.
*Sitting on edge of seat… in anticipation*
