I hope he doesn't hold onto it for too long! He just left to "go help his sister with something" so I'm guessing he's picking up the ring this afternoon. I'll be sure to post pics whenever my honey decides to pop the question :)

I'm right there with you too. We had a ring custom made and it's done. The stone will be set in it this week - then I'll just be waiting for him to propose. Hopefully neither of us will be waiting to long.

Thanks! For the Bees who know the ring is in, have you told anyone (Mom, friends)? It's so funny because I just want to talk to everrrrryyyone about how we worked together to find a great ring and will be engaged soon. (I've decided to keep my mouth shut and just discuss on WB with you fine ladies). I'm just so happy :)
I haven't told anyone yet, but I'm DYING to! I'd rather just wait until he proposes... Even though I don't like surprises and am glad that my SO is letting me so involved in this process I can't wait to surprise my friends and family.
....although I don't think anyone is going to be surprised at all. It will probly be more of an "it's about time" attitude. Haha.
I've tried to not tell. But the whole process has taken to long since we had a ring custom made. I've told a few close friends and I finally broke down and told my mom last week. I told her the process has been in the works for months and she was surprised I was able to keep the secret as long as I did. I really suck at keeping secrets - especially when they are my own. I was hoping to be able to surprise everyone too, but like TinyTina, it probably would have been less of a surprise and more of an "we knew it was going to happen" reaction.
Oh c'mon! I was just cleaning up the house since we're having guests over tonight and what do I find? My ring! Just sitting in its box on top on the safe under our bed. Good thing I picked it out and know what it looks like otherwise I would be dying to sneak a peek. How am I supposed to sleep at night knowing my new sparkly friend is right underneath us......It's very Princess And the Pea ;)

.............but we're not engaged yet so the real torture has begun lol.
We had such a fun day ring shopping yesterday. At lunch afterwards we were discussing which rings were the best price/cut/clarity/deal/etc. We both agreed on a specific stone and specific mounting then sat down together as he purchased it (he figured I would find out how much it costs eventually). The guy told us it would be ready TODAY (even after I asked him not to tell me ugh). The REAL waiting game begins now Bees.....
