Weddingbee boards

We are married!  I wanted to post some vendor reviews for any Boston Brides:

Photographer: Perfect Wedding Photo, www.perfectweddingphoto.com

Erik was fantastic, as was our 2nd photographer, Colleen.  He is super creative, and a lot of times he was taking pictures that we'd never guess!  They also both clearly love their jobs, and are very enthusiastic and had a lot of fun with us.  I strongly recommend them!  Oh, and they are very well priced.

Music/DJ: C-Zone Music, www.czonemusic.com

Greg was our DJ, and he also plays the sax, so we had a trio jazz group for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then Greg DJ'd the reception.  The band was fantastic!  I also had my heart set on one song for my processional, and two weeks before the wedding, the guitarist bought the sheet music and learned it just for me!  He played acoustic, and it was amazing!  And we had told Greg no cheesy music, so when people asked for it, he told them "its not on the list", which I totally loved and find extremely amusing!  No one wants to hear the electric slide, really!  Greg really knew what to play, to keep everyone dancing, and I literally did not leave the dance floor all night....my dress was a mess and I was sweating, but it was so much fun!  Even my HUSBAND ; ) was up there with me, and I literally have never seen him dance once in our entire relationship.  the dance floor was packed all night long!  And again, the price was fantastic, considering all we got!  lower than some people I know paid for just a DJ.

Florist: The Tangled Web, www.the-tangled-web.net

Jen owns her own florist company, and she was also amazing!  She was the second florist we went to.  The first was a nightmare, and when we met Jen, my stress over choosing a florist completely disappeared.  She completely understood what I wanted, knew what I didn't want, and we had flowers everywhere!  I had originally thought we were spending too much, because it was slightly over what I had wanted to spend, but once I saw everything she did, I was impressed!  She really did an amazing job.

a videographer was the hardest to pick.  It was something I originally had not wanted, until I saw my friends wedding video.  ANd knew someday I would regret not having one.  I got about 20 samples from every company in Boston and surrounding areas, and hated everything.  I finally decided to check them out, I hadn't before because they are definitely more pricey than most, and their work is incredible.  I booked them without even meeting them.  I have yet to see the video, but I thought our videographer was great, and I know he did a wonderful job.

I hope you all find these things useful!  I am the last of my friends to get married, so I had to rave about them all somewhere!

we got married at veronique ballroom?  I didn't want to post about it because its so expensive.....but I fell in love with it!  They were also absolutely amazing, the food was beyond unbelievable, and all our guests that we have heard from so far have said it was the best wedding they had been to!  its www.longwoodevents.com they have a few places, and they either are or have opened a new place called Artistry.

thank you all!  I loved planning, and now I don't know what I am going to do with myself!  And yes, its wonderful that everything worked out - I normally have terrible luck.  And every vendor except the florist that I chose, were the first and only ones we met!  I really think making a decision based on the person is the way to go.  If someone rubs you the wrong way, chances are you won't like their work either!
