AMEN SISTER FRIEND. This is my life right now. I've been asking FI to look up places he wants to go for a honeymoon for like three weeks now. Nada. Songs? Forget that. We, too, don't have a song. And when we started talking about it, he has zero input. And when I ask him if he even cares to help (because I can just as easily do it on my own), he says yes. UGH. THEN HELP!
@rubyroad10: haha our FI's are toooo much alike!! I ask are you even excited?? He says yeah then act like it lol! Idk. We have been together like 8 yrs this Sept. I mean not an olllld couple but sure acting like one! I guess we will be in charge of everything!!!
Oh, we are in a worse boat. We have a song...."Fairytale of New York" by the Pouges...yeah, its about a drunken break-up.
I got like 3 songs for our last dance and none for the first.
@Rubies: omg I saw on FB on the Brides post that a groom "surprised" his bride with a Justin Beiber lip synching of Baby and his groomsmen too.. Helloo???? I wanted to comment that it is NOT cute and its about him losing his 1st love ugghhhhh! Brides ppl said how cute! I wanted to throw up lol! My kids know that isnt cute lol!

I had the same issue. I love country. I always thought I would have a country song. Then my Fiancee came home a few weeks ago and was like you have to hear the remake version of this beatles song. I knew when I heard it, that was it. It was something he liked but it was made into something similar to country. I suggest doing something like this. Find the words that you like from a song but there are so many different versions out there!

I asked FI what he wants our 1st dance to be and he didn't really say. I like some country but he doesnt really. I wanted Its Your Love but he doesnt even know that song... what to do?? He is NOT very active helping me plan. Like I am the only one here:(( Even with the mini-moon we will be taking. I am looking up everything!!
