Guys, (well, ladies) you have no idea how much you need and use a fridge until you don’t have one in your home. Darling Husband and I got married December 30th and moved into our home for the first night that night! However, we didn’t have a fridge (and therefore, had no groceries other than basic snacks that didn’t need to be cold) and it has been INSANE. Darling Husband just sent me two pictures while I’m at work, and he has gotten our fridge on and running! YAY! No more eating takeout! I can finally cook good meals! 😀 We also got our cable and internet hooked up today, so I am in a very jolly mood!
Just had to post, I’m so relieved! 🙂

When we moved in to our house the fridge we ordered was on back order so we had to live out of a bar fridge for 6 weeks! We could barefly fit anything in it. Needless to say, we mooched many dinners off family and friends and got lots of takeout. Congrats on the wedding and house!

Aww moving into a new place and having everything up and running is the BEST feeling! My husband actually danced around our new townhouse when he realized Comcast actually had turned on the internet the day they said they would 🙂

yay! i’m so glad our home came with a fridge!
when we first moved into our home (a few days after the wedding) we had a stove, but no pots or pans to cook with. we didn’t even have a microwave to cook up even the simplest meals! pretty much the only thing we could use was the oven, so we had frozen pizzas and lasagna for our first few meals. after a few days we bought some pots and pans and we were able to get a microwave from our neighbor’s yard sale.
it felt so good to be back in business!

YES! I feel complete now. We had the other appliances already (dishwasher, stove, microwave) but the previous owners had taken the fridge. We just bought our first round of groceries (and came out better than I had anticipated with $$!) It’s a good day. LOL. 🙂
