Weddingbee boards

Some of you may remember that my bf and I moved in together on the basis that we would get engaged. Shortly (read 24 hours) before moving in together, he announced that the engagement was going to have to wait because he didn't have the money for the ring. Well after some talking, we decided to go with an affordable promise ring until we can afford something else.

I was dead serious about putting him on a plane back to the Great White North if there was stalling, but 48 hours after he landed, we went ring shopping. The shiny arrived today and is in his possession until further notice. I think it might be ok to breathe a little now, haha.

YAY!  But don't hold your breath... SERIOUSLY! lol... my SO bought my ring 3 months ago and I'm still waiting on it.  I don't know if it's better OR worse that i KNOW it's in his possession.... but I am extremely happy... AND HAPPY FOR YOU, nonetheless :-)

Thanks vanilla frosting. I'm oddly calm right now knowing that he has it. I suppose there is time for me to start getting edgy though. The pressure is really on for him because he has to plan a proposal now (if he hasn't already--most likely not). I'm going to tell myself that he is at least going to wait until after my sister's wedding in May. He has to leave in August, so I'm going to try not to wig out until then.

I'm really just going to keep sane about this. Strangely, I've been more calm since we got it. I think I'll ok. I'll remember to breathe. Thanks bees.
