I am in the process of trying to come up with an idea for some DIY invitations. Though if it doesn't work I have found one at Michaels from the BRIDES line as well. It is the one with the navy blue print. Not bad at all for the price but part of me really wants to make our own.
Ours are white...let me see if i can find a link to them. I spend maybe a whole afternoon printing them, but they came out GREAT! FI said that they look like they 4-5$ each :)
I think they call them "white premium invites"

We bought the black and white ones. I have to figure out how to do them. Picking out fonts is HARD!
@WindyCityBride you can google "fonts for wedding invites" and there are so many different samples! It's actually making it a pretty fun experience! Just remember print on a blank piece of paper fist amd make sure they allign just right and then print on the real ones, do one and a time and let them dry a little so they dont smudge! Hope this helps!
We used the DIY Invites from Michaels last year for our August Wedding- they turned out absolutely amazing! I added a bit more to them other than the standard set you get including a background layer to the main invite, and also a 3 level booklet with wedding directions, reception directions, and registry info. I'll have to take a pic but they turned out great!

I bought this kit from michaels, and it has matching programs that I also purchased. They invitations slide into the brown part like a sleeve, and the flower part is like a punchout so the ivory shows through. The programs are really cool, but I can't find a picture of them online. They were originally $40 or so, but I found them on clearance so scooped up 5 of each box, and used a coupon and got them for $11 a piece!
(sorry if the picture is really big)
