I would call them. I think there is a way that they can look it up. Did you check the invoice? On all the things we received from Bed, Bath and Beyond, there was a from line on the invoice that said who purchased it I believe.
There wasn't an invoice in the box...also confusing! Can I take it into the store and have them scan the bar code on the box? Will that work?
I'm not sure if the store has access to the behind the scenes wedding info. You might just try going in without the box and asking them.
It is very exciting! I couldn't believe we got one so early!
Call BBB. They can look up your registry and if the gift was purchased online, they can tell you who bought it. If it wasn't purchased online, they will tell you which store the gift was purchased from. If you call the store, they can supposedly give you the info you need. (We didn't end up needing to call the store - but we did have a similar situation).
It was bought online, I think. Based on the fact it was shipped from their factory. Weird they didn't include an invoice or anything! lol. Thanks for the tip!
That's strange that it didn't have a receipt. Congrats on getting your 1st gift though - so exciting! It's definitely one of those "OMG we're getting married!" moments. :)
Congratultions!
I have to say that I sent a gift from a registry and never got a thank you card. I waited a while and called and asked if she (the bride) got the gift. She did get it, but she didn't know who it was from. It was delivered without a card even though I paid for it to have one.
They said they can't do it in store or something, so I am going to try and call!
@lynnabby-I can't believe she didn't try to find out who it was from!
ETA: I finally found a card in there, after you said something about one...it was hiding between the towels! Still no invoice, though. lol. The card was TINY!
Congrats on your first gift! I LOVE brand new, plush bath towels! Let us know if you manage to figure out who gave them to you; it's kind of weird how some stores make it anonymous like that.
It was on the itty bitty card. lol. It was from the Pastor who said he waouldn't do our wedding, and the Card was him declining the invite. Never heard of THAT before!
glad you got it figured out!
we also got our first gift today (towels) but they werent off our registry, they were off overstock.com. i have no clue who they are from. no receipt or invoice, nada

I cam home from work today to find a B3 box on my door step! I opened it up, and it has the full set of the towels we registered for. There's just one problem...there was no name! I went on the site and wasn't able to get any help. If I go into the store will they tell me...or can they? I need to know who to thank!
Also, would it be rude to say," please remember to include your name when ordering online" on our wedding site so it doesn't happen again?
