And it didn’t rain even though there was a 80% chance for the day! Well, it rained some in the morning but stopped around noon and the skies cleared (although it was windy and chilly). Also, we were about thirty minutes late starting but that was okay (for the record, I was ready on time ). The only thing I stressed about was time. Overall things went fine except some people in the park decided to get close to use and talk during the ceremony (which I didn’t notice) and the chairs were never delivered but we were already refunded for it. Besides that pretty much everything went fine. Here are some guest pictures. The first is my husband’s groom’s cake (I’m in the green behind him and you can also see my cute little nephew) that we ate the night before, the second is me waiting on the cars to pick us up to go to the park, the third is me and my brother walking down the aisle, and the last is one of the ceremony pictures (I hate that my arms are so red but that’s fine). Also, I highly recommend a small destination wedding. We got to spend time with everyone all weekend and everything felt so much more relaxed with so few people (we had 18 guests at the ceremony, 14 at the reception).

I also wanted to add that while I don’t have any good reception pictures right now, it was amazing. The food was fantastic (we had things like mini crab cakes, tomato bisque, fried chicken, etc) and so was the cake. I will definitely include more information in my reviews that I’ll post on the South Carolina board later but I definitely recommend d’lish for cakes and Magnolia’s restaurant in downtown Charleston for any private event.

Gosh, you look like one of my old college buddies, I mean the spitting image, lol! I had to do a doubletake. Love your glasses, dress, bouquet, venue, groom’s cake, everything, congratulations! I’m over here in GA, but Charleston is not too far to go for a great elopement package, thanks for the idea (I’ll PM you later for more details).
