my guy was a groomsman for a friends wedding, it was just him and the other guy... the groom didn't tell them who the best man was... turned out he didn't want to lable either of them best man... so the both had to do the job... the managed to split it well but it was really confusing for a while. ^_^
i think that's a different case... i'm sure it will be okay... good luck!
we have two. one is kind of more like the "main" best man, but they both have the title.
My FI has 2 best men - both of his brothers. One of his brothers will be pulling double duty and got ordained to be our officiant!
My "godfather" got married when I was 6. I was his flower girls. They had a rather large bridal party. He considered ALL of his groomsmen to be his "Best Men". (My father was one of them; The two of them are best buds to this day. )
So it's really whatever you want to do. It's like us girls making all of our bridesmaids into Maids/Matrons of Honor. I think it would be fine. :)
We have 2, my fiance's brothers. They are a bit confused as to what to do because I only have a Maid of Honor. They're like "wait who gets to walk with her?!"
aloweha, why don't you have BOTH men walk with the Maid of Honor. One on each side of her. Makes the MOH feel like she's important, she's got "bodyguards".
They don't have to link arms. She can carry her flowers, and they can walk with their hands in front of them. When they get to the "alter", the guys can pause for a moment, and let your MOH continue to her spot. Once she's out from between them, they can continue their journey to the groom. How's that sound?
I'm having both of my sisters act as maids of honor...I didn't want to pick just one. So, FI decided to have two best men to match - his best friend from high school and then his best friend from college. I think that they are embracing the joint status and are working together to plan the bachelor party. Fun stuff.

So this is what happend. My fiancee wanted to pick his best friend to be his best man but his older & only brother would get upset. & we are only having 6 bridal party members so he made them all the best men. We are going to have them all take part in the best man duties.
Does anyone else have more then one best man?
