After 2 years of waiting, SO and I have ordered a ring!!So after obsessive checking and fedex tracking, we have FINALLY received said ring on the mail! SO “allowed” me to parade around the house with it on for about 20 minutes before snatching it away, but taking a picture never crossed my over stimmulated brain. So now my BEAUTIFUL ring is locked up in SO’s man-cave, and I am not to see it again until he asks me to be his wifey-poo.He wants to do a proper proposal and so effing Impatient you guys! We got the ring on Thusrday night, and I have been knocking myself out dropping hints that this weekend would be a nice time to propose, lol! So knows this about me, and is likely to torture for a least the next week ror two. He is a patient man, and always teases me about how impatient I am.
I can’t promise that I won’t go into his man-cave and put it on when he’s at work…I just can’t.
So any tips for me to keep me from going bat shit crazy while I wait?

Join the club! Trust me, guys usually get a ring and say “oh, when the time is right” and then once it is in their hands, and you have your hair in a loose bun without so much as smeared mascara while wearing your college sweats, that’s when they think about popping the question right then and there! (Maybe that’s just in my world as my FI knew that I was fond of intimate, at home, all relaxed proposals).
Cheers to you and your future FI!

I was in the same situation for a few weeks. He didnt even bother to try to hide it, it sat on our table in the box. Im not going to lie, I wore it a few times while he was at work. In the end, im glad he wanted to do a proper proposal. It wasnt anything fancy, but it is a memory.

Hahaha that picture is so funny! XD
I knew my FI had my ring for about a month and a half before he proposed! It was likewise torcher for me, considering that I did some custom tweaks to my dream setting and had never seen it. I basically buried my head in weddingbee and betterthandiamond so that I could look at other pretty rings and proposal stories.

Poor you! I cant imagine the torture. I know my FI got the ring on one Tuesday, after shopping for 2 good month. He told all of it after proposal though. He said, when he got a ring, he loved it so much, he wanted to run home and give it to me right away:D lol
But he knew I didnt wanna proposal on the couch, while I wearing some house clothes:D
So, on Saturday that week, we went out to celebrate our move to a new town, like a new chapter in our lives, and after dinner on the romantic walk he popped the question:)
I was so surprised I started crying and couldn’t stop for 10 min, and then I asked him to ask me again, cause I still couldn’t believe it:)
So, hang on girl! It will happen soon! Congrats and best of luck!

Hahah I know the feeling, my ring is being shipped tomorrow, SO said he MIGHT let me try it on before snatching it from me. Then my ring also goes into hiding.
Hang in there! It’s worth the wait 😀

I know exactly how you feel! My SO told me the day after we found the perfect ring that he got it! The waiting and wondering when it is going to happen is enough to drive you crazy! It is kind of exciting not knowing, and I just try not to think about it too much, but it is in the back of my mind allllll the time!!! Good luck Ladies!!!!

Oh girl I feel your pain! FI & I bought the ring together, and it just sat in a closet for two months. Every once in awhile (especially if we were a little tipsy…) we would bring it out and I would wear it. I think he liked seeing me in it even more than I liked wearing it!! But he had a special time he wanted to propose in mind, which made it all that more special.
Hang in there!!!
