Weddingbee boards

Yikes! I am touched by the time bf is spending preparing for the session...getting everything he wants to be sure he says on paper. I am more of an off the cuff communicator (more of a talker).

I keep thinking of two sayings regarding our possible marriage (we are going to therapy to figure out if we should get married):

   Hitch your wagon to a star (Emerson)

   Be not unevenly yoked     (Bible)

 I know hitch your wagon to a star is often about pursuing your dreams no matter what. Is it also used to refer to who you pair up with? I mean, not having someone who holds you back or drag you down? Or does this apply more to "be not unevenly yoked"? We love each other very much and want very much to make a good decision. We are 48 and 49 so we have made bad decisions in the past in other relationships. We are very different. Any thoughts?  Thanks, Bees!

omg, bf just left to have coffee alone. He was all dressed and ready to go, thinking it was 20 mins till our appt and here I am still in pajamas and making assorted phone calls! He felt better when he realized the appointment is 1pm, not 11am. Strangely enough, one of the things I love about him AND drives me nuts is he is MORE anxious than I am. He's the first man I've met who could top me in anxiety. So just hangin' with the kitties, gonna take a shower and get ready...may go somewhere and then he can meet me!

ps just made a reservation at hottub rental place for later this afternoon. I think it will do us both good!

It went really well! And afterwards we had lunch at olive garden and did a little shopping. I was able to follow my weight watcher's plan at lunch and found a white footed cake plate like I've been wanting for $5 at a store that adopts out homeless animals. The only thing that could make the day better is sex!
