hello, I came across this post and we are getting married in veagas too.. so how did it go?! i would love to hear about it!
That sounds awesome! I blogged last week about a gorgeous venue there and probably the one my sis is using for her vow renewal. I think you two are going to have an absolute blast! You would think vegas weddings are quickie, but boy as of late, they can really offer you alot! My sis has been researching!
So fun! And yet can be so stress-free (she's doing the whole wedding too, but with about 20 of us there and yes, I'll be her MOH again!).
She's designing her cake to be like this:
topper is a candy/chocolate replica of the "welcome to vegas sign" colored
1st and 2nd layer will look like dice rolled (sitting at different angles) to add up to the number "21"
and the 3rd layer will be just square with the silhouettes of some of the iconic landmarks of vegas going around the base of it.
Something like this (just an idea if you haven't picked out the cake yet) but with the las vegas sign as the topper and a second dice (to make it a 21):
It was awesome! If anyone ever is in Vegas and needs advice for a makeup artist, photographer, hotel, chapel... anything, just let me know. It was perfect :) Here are some pics:

Your pictures are great congratulations! My FI and I just decided to trash our wedding plans and fly to Vegas instead, you looked great where did you get your hair and makeup done?

VEGAS baby! After months of stress of trying to just figure out where we would wed --and mind you this was before we were even engaged--we decided to elope! We just tgot engaged last week (yay!) and already had the entire Vegas deal uder wraps-we are talking reservations, photogs everything DONE! So far we have been telling friends/family that we want to have a private ceremony with just the two of us, and then a down home party (ok, reception) in the summer and the responses have been positive. We will tell them that we are headed to Vegas about a week before we go, and that is in 50 days! Whoo hoo! This is so us and we are very excited!
Any other Vegas brides or elopers out there?
