We originally planned on an all inclusive St. Lucia honeymoon but with airfare and standard room hotel accomodations it was already going to cost us over $4,000!!! We don’t own a home yet and we would both rather have money in the bank to save for a down payment.
I started researching on tripadvisor.com and came across this AMAZING luxury B&B. I’ve always wanted to stay at one, even for one or two nights but my FI has never been into the idea. Well, I fell COMPLETELY in love with this place after looking at the pictures and reading each one of the reviews. I showed it to him when he got home and we both decided it was the place for us!! It’s a 10,000 square foot home perched on a hilltop with four levels, a pool and a jacuzzi. It has a rooftop deck with a 360 degree view and from it you can see the arch and the ocean. It is GORGEOUS!!! They even provide you with binoculars and telescopes to do some rooftop whale watching.
Not only is it perfect but we can stay for 7 nights and 8 days in the HONEYMOON SUITE and purchase our airfare for about 1/2 of what St. Lucia would have cost. I am SO excited!! I cannot WAIT to go!!! By the way, it’s in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Ooo it’s gorgeous! Does that include food? you can easily rack up quite a bill with a week’s worth of food, including lunch, dinner, and snacks and beverages for 2 since i guess bfast is included =]. I’m trying to find an affordable vacay for december. it’s tough!!!

EJ– It includes a HUGE breakfast!! Different entree served everyday and served with fresh fruit smoothies too. One of the owners has GREAT recommendations for restaraunts and a place with great tacos that’s VERY close to the B&B where two people can eat for under ten bucks. They also have BBQ’s on the decks and a full kitchen that you have access to the whole time you’re staying there. There’s a Costco down the hill and you can stock up the fridge and cook there if you’d like to. Food and beverage costs were my first concern too but I checked into it and staying at an all inclusive is about $125.00/day more!! We’re not big drinkers so we won’t drink too much alcohol and there’s no way we’ll spend that much money every day on food. Besides, we get a honeymoon suite if we stay here, not a standard room. We don’t have a TON of money to spend but I really wanted a fairytale honeymoon. I think this will be great. One of the reviews I read was written by a newlywed couple and they said they only ate out one night out of the five days they stayed there.

The place looks great, you’ll love Cabo too- it rains about 3 days a year there so you are guaranteed good weather. Bring your sunscreen though the sun is harsh.
