We'll be getting our cake from a new bakery called "Sweet on Cake". The owner/baker/s name is Amber and we found out about her from a food network challenge. She's done a couple that have already aired and I think there is at least one more that has been recorded. We had our tasting with her last month and we were really happy with the way the cakes tasted. Price-wise she seemed to be pretty comparable with the other cake bakers I researched on the internet.
I am ordering mine from Auntie Bs. They are Sonoma County's number 1 bakery for wedding cakes. Call and leave a message. Bee usually takes a couple days to return calls. I have my cake tasting next month.
There is also Cousteaux's Bakery in Healdsburg that does pretty cakes.
Thanks girls!! I am going to get in touch with all three of them. I really appreciate it!
A friend also just referred me to Giorgis Cakes - www.Giorgiscakes.com . She's in Windsor but her prices are unreal, $3.50 a slice!
OOOo super helpful for me too :) Let us know how Auntie B's goes "desert teacher'. THANKS!
