Weddingbee boards

We've been secretly engaged since october, my ring has been waiting in its box under my pillow since then. We were waiting for FFIL to be here (he was out of the country) so we could tell all our parents at the same time (no phone).

Thursday night we told the FILs, there was shock at first, FMIL instructed us not to hug her or she'd cry, FFIL started snapping pictures of my ring and FSIL got all emotional (overprotective sister) and just went to her room.

Friday night it was my parents' turn, they got all nervious when we sat them down. There was extreme silence when we told them before thay started asking a bunch of questions wondering if we're prepared for this. There were tears when my mom started telling FI they like him a lot and already kind of consider him part of the family and there were more tears when my dad came to hug me and told me I'm not big enough to get married (he always teases me about my size).

So we're public now, I can finally wear my ring! We'll probably tell the rest of the family today or tomorrow. I'm excited and nervious

Thank you so much ladies. Yes it is extremely relieving, FI and I were exausted last night, didn't know we had so much stress in our bodies. 2012 here we come! :)
