Congratulations!!!! I just wanted to say I know you said above you wanted to go to Hawaii but you may want to factor in travel time. When DH and I flew to HI from Houston, it took like 8 hours one way. With a 3 day trip, you may want to reconsider. I don’t want to rain on the parade but just wanted to give you a heads up so you can have as much time as possible on your trip!

I don’t know how you feel about this, but if you wanted to use the savings for yourself and you had to spend it on BM dresses, you could make the girls pay you for the dresses and then place the order yourself with the savings. Sure, the total for the BM dresses is probably lower than the total for your wedding dress, so you’d be saving less $$, but it’s a suggestion. I don’t know if you’re comfortable with that, but I figured I’d mention it just in case you hadn’t thought of it.

Just make sure that the flights don’t totally suck up all the 3 days. You don’t want to spend 2 days on a plane and going to/from airports, and only one day where you’re actually going.

Just make sure you really read the fine print on that vacation.  I think I “won” a vacation after every bridal show I attended and there was always a time share presentation or exorbitant “taxes and fees” applied.  But if it’s truly a free vacation that’s AWESOME!

Yes I know how you feel!!! My fiance and I went to a bridal show in Toronto and he had to dance on stage against other grooms to be…and we got third….a FREE CAKE (awesome) …second prize was awesome (free DJing) 1st was a wedding band (just one I think…we were planning on selling it if we won the ring…we want to design our own) …So I am excited for the cake!!

As a pp has said, be careful that this actually is a prize and not just bait to get you to spend a lot of money on flights, etc. Bridal fairs have a well deserved bad rap for these phony prizes.
