    @starbzz:  stunning!

    My first reaction, and it may be the angle of the camera, is that there’a a lot of bosom showing there.

    So why not wear something on top for the church ceremony? I like that idea of 2 looks with one dress, anyway.

    Ask your priest. If they require it, wear it. But strictly from a style point of view, I would not wear one.

    Can we see it with the straps?

    I think it looks fine, but be sure to ask your priest!

    Call me crazy, but I actually like the dress with straps more than without!

    I like it better with the straps. The way the neckline is at the sides, it looks like it seas meant to have the straps there – if you remove them, it looks odd.

    That said, the straps may not provide enough coverage by themselves – you really need to talk to your priest. If it turns out you have to wear a cover up, I’d say go strapless, because straps would look weird under a bolero or wrap.

    @starbzz:  I accidentally voted strapless, but actually prefer it with the straps.  The lace is stunning!

    I could tell before I even read your post that your dress was supposed to have straps.  Straps and bolero wasn’t an option, but for a traditional catholic service shoulders should generally be covered — ask your priest.  I would wear straps + shoulders covered for the ceremony and straps only for the reception.  When it’s strapless I think it looks like you tucked the straps in!

    I, personally, wouldn’t feel comfortable showing that much skin in a church.  I’d get a cover up at least for inside the church.

    I think you need to be more covered for the church ceremony, maybe find a cute bolero? And then either strapless or with straps (I actually reallly like the straps) for the reception.
