Well, it feels really great to finally be wearing my wedding ring, which used to be my mom’s <3
Haven’t forgotton the e-ring though, it’s living on my right hand now!
Of course, the urge to stack has now surfaced. Actually, ever since I decided to go with an heirloom ring (is that the proper word to use even if it isn’t really that old?) my husband has insisted that he wants to get me a second band, from him.
Our five-year dating anniversary is today (wedding was two weeks ago) and we’re still waiting for the new band to come in the mail, wheee! He says it has to do with nature. I am thinking it is most likely this tree-bark band which I’ve shown him in the past:
ETA: In case anyone’s interested, and there wasn’t QUITE enough ring porn for you, this is the ring my DH decided to go with for himself. It’s titanium with lapis inlay:

Those are all very beautiful-congrats! I really like that wedding band. It’s very unique but so classic at the same time.

First let me say that I love all of the rings. It’s so special that you have your moms ring to wear. It’s also pretty special that your husband wants to get you a band as well. I love his ring too! What a unique set of rings you guys have! You guys will have some pretty awesome heirloom rings to hand down if that’s what you choose to do.

@MrsSnowMountain: Congrats on being a Mrs. now! Love all these rings, and I think it’s very sweet of your hubby to want to give you a band just from him. Be sure to post pics when you get it!
