So I have red shoes to go with my tea-length white dress. It just dawned on me when I made an appointment for my pre-wedding pedicure that I have no idea what color polish to use.
When I was planning to wear ivory shoes, I was going with either a pale pink or maybe a fuschia. Neither would seem to work with red.
What do I do? Try to find a red that matches the shoes? Something totally different? I’m stuck!

I’m wearing red shoes for my reception and I’m going with a french manicure!

I wore red shoes and a pearly champagne/ off white polish and thought it looked great. I think trying to match the red would be very hard so would suggest a neutral or a french.

Oops – I just noticed a typo in mine! I meant a french pedicure!

@FutureKMM…I didn’t even pick up on that until you pointed it out!
Hmm..the numbers are pretty even…I suppose now my question might be WHICH neutral…

I don’t know your style really but have you heard of rock star toes? I love having mine that way. It’s a UV light cured gel process that you just pour glitter onto/into over your toe nails. With glitter you don’t have to worry too much about the red matching exactly and it will totally add bling and fun to your toes! PLUS- it will stay for at least 2-3 weeks with no chipping. I don’t know your honeymoon plans but you totally don’t have to worry about it. Also you can usually get an awesome pedicure before they apply the gel. If you have a local beauty school they do it for way cheaper and mine would throw the pedicure in for free, just so the girls could get the experience.
If you aren’t a glitter type of girl, how about beach toes? It’s the same idea as a french pedicure but it’s done with acrylic, just like they do on your fingers, but not with the glued on tips. It makes your toenails the littlest bit longer, but it gets them all even and shiny. It really does look beautiful. We all did it for my sisters wedding (even though we wore closed toe shoes for the ceremony) and my feet have never looked so nice.

How are you getting your nails done? I would go french on the shoes and maybe red on your nails!
