I would think just something simple but beautiful would do just well
Yes very true also even if I went with straps/strap it would be simple as well : )
I am going to be wearing 2 dresses. I am going with a ballgown for the ceremony and a sheath for the reception. They are similar as far as design just different silhouettes. Here are the pictures if you want to get the idea. The first one is the ceremony and the second is the reception.
I think that a destination dress or a party dress in white/ivory would be great for a reception dress! Dessy has a new line that I just found for destination dresses, or you could look at Maggie Sottero, those destination gowns are gorgeous! Good luck!!!

I wore two dresses. One with a large train and another simple dress! :-)
The first picture is my "ceremony gown". The second is my "reception gown".
I wore my reception gown for all the pre-ceremony pictures I took with my husband so that when he saw me walk down the aisle, my ceremony gown was a complete surprise to him.
We then took more pictures in my ceremony gown before and after the cocktail hour.
Good luck!
@HapaBride: ooooh I love your second dress! Who and what is it?!!!
