I say, look at it this way -- if it rains, you can get some awesome photos. The light diffuses really nicely through the rain.
There's nothing you can do about the rain, honestly.
We've decided to get a nice umbrella (in white/ivory -- NOT BLACK) to be safe, but if it rains, it rains.
Good luck!
(and don't forget about the Twin Cities meetup coming up!)
I planned an early June wedding to avoid miserable July/August heat. Instead of a balmy 70-degree day, it was 96. I freaked out when I saw the forecast, as I couldn't think of worse weather. http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/holy-heat-wave
Eventually I had to come to terms with my total lack of control over the weather, despite fervert belief that if I just willed it, the heat would go away :)
all you can do is have a good back up (such as giant, cute umbrellas - we had fans which were a big hit with the hot crowd). There was a blogger on here who got married on a day that rained so hard her venue had its power totally knocked out most of the day leading up to the wedding - while it wasn't what she envisioned, I think it was a more fabulous, memorable day than she could have hoped for.
also, a forecast 11 days out is pretty much guess work, so i wouldn't worry about it too much :)
oh and I had the most amazing day on our wedding day - it wasn't 100% to plan, but i doubt they ever are!!!

So I'm getting married in 11 days! (Sep. 6) in Red Wing and I am so afraid it's going to rain. We're having an outdoor ceremony and we have a backup room, but I would be majorly upset if we have to do it there.... I guess I just need a little reassurance. I'm not the religious type, but my future mother-in-law said if you hang a rosary in the north window of your home, it won't rain on your wedding day, so I may be resorting to that! I've been in control of most of the wedding, but it's too bad I can't control the weather!
