So, I’ve done my research. As much as I can from afar, I suppose. I will be in San Francisco from June 20 – 26. My wedding is June 22 at 12 pm noon. I know June is the foggy season. But, I’d like a little more personal advice from those who have actual experience with the weather there.
In my head I’m envisioning my hair down, with a slight wave (this will take a ridiculous amount of product, as my hair is very fine). But I’m guessing that the fog makes the air wet. Do you SF ladies recommend very simple chignons for the big day? Ones that don’t require gallons of hairspray?

You’re going to be having a ceremony outside? THe fog shouldn’t mess you up too bad, honestly, since the weather is cool I have not found fog to mess up my hair too much. What you should be more concerned about is WIND! It can blow like heck in SF, depending on where you are. I would recommend at least half-up so the hair doesn’t whip in your face. Or a chignon would work too, but it would have to be well anchored. all in all I would recommend either totally up, or a half-up style where it looks OK if it’s a bit windswept.

I’ll be indoors. LOL! Sorry, I left out that part. Thanks for telling me about the wind, though. I wasn’t even thinking of that! I think I will go with the chignon. Where I live it is very humid, and when it’s foggy, it’s almost like stationary rain. So I was picturing having my hair done in lovely waves (something that requires professional & intensive efforts), stepping outside, and looking like someone dumped a bucket of water on my head.
