Hey, all. I was hoping for some creative input here. Our theme is the starry night sky. We were considering making a webpage for our guests to view and weren’t sure what to make the address and name of the site. I don’t really want to do just our names. I was thinking something like StarryNight, but that says nothing of us or marriage or love. Any ideas out there? Thanks!

it was written in the stars? Wishing on stars? One in a million?

This is a tough one because many of the cool ones are taken. I checked out starryeyed.com, writteninthestars.com, wishingonstars.com, starstruck.com, oneinamillion.com on GoDaddy, and they’re not available. wishingonthestar.com and caughtastar.com are available though.
The nice thing about names is that you have a better chance of purchasing that url. Even if your names were already being used, you can add a year, remove "and" etc. For example, if Kate and David were getting married, their url could be…
and so on.

We purchased several names and had them point to the same site. mynameandhisname.com, hisnameandmyname.com…Just in case. I titled the main page "Labor of Love" for our theme so people would know. But I always think simple is better when it comes to web addresses.

I registered a domain name with our new last name–we’re both changing to something else so our wedding website is http://wedding.lastname.org/
Doesn’t speak to a specific theme but it says something about us.. 🙂

From a guest’s point of view, I think it would be easier to have the domain name be something that includes your names (any of the many suggestions Angel listed are awesome). Then have the rest of the website reflect the theme.
