Hello hive! So, boyfriend and I are going to get engaged early next year. Lots of reasons for waiting til then, but the two most important ones are:
1) he’s both a minister AND applying to phd programs so this fall/ winter are insanely busy for him
2) the whole process of getting engaged, talking to my parents, getting a ring are absolutely terrifying “social conventions” to him and he doesn’t understand how they work in the least.
Anyone know of any websites and/ or books that can help him understand it better and kind of walk him through the process? He’s practically in tears!

and there is a book call “Groom’s Guide” but I don’t think it covers before…the wedding (like the proposal) I found it at Barnes and Nobel..but if you look in the wedding section at your local bookstore, you can probably find..others..I was looking for bridal binders and stumbled upon that.

Thank you so, so much! I sent them to him and he absolutely loved them. He actually smiled as opposed to the panicked look on his face whenever he thinks about it. Y’all are the best!
