I thought it might be nice for us to all share websites that are great for shopping for wedding-related items, especially for DIY brides. Here are some of my favorites:
Save-On-Crafts.com – they have pretty much everything wedding related, from lights to glass jars to candles to fake flowers to tablecloths and everything in between.
JamaliGarden.com – a lot of the same stuff as Save On Crafts – they have amazing candlesticks, vases, candles, pots, urns, and floral supplies
PaperPresentation.com -ribbons, envelopes, blank invites, cards, etc mostly in solid colors
Paper-Source.com – pre-made invitations as well as tons of DIY paper supplies. they have great DIY materials in cool patterns and designs, as well.
Craigslist.org – find used items in your local area
Weddingbee Classifieds – lots of brides selling off their decor items!
Anyone else have any to add? Maybe some websites that have good DIY tutorials?

craftgawker.com and weddinggawker.com have some great inspirations, and lots of times craftgawker will have DIY tutorial links.
I agree with signing up for coupons – Michael’s sends e-mails a couple times a week, and I often see 50% off one regular price item coupons.
http://www.papermart.com for favor containers and other wedding-esque goods, including muslin bags.

Ummm okay this is a bad bad thread. I swear after all this wedding DIY crafting stuff I’m going to open my own Etsy shop!!!! Thanks for the sites ladies!
So of course, I’m a lover of Etsy both for finished products and supplies. There’s a neat blog called SimplyModernMom that has some great crafting ideas. I’m not a mom, but I still like it 😉
