    Hello bees,

As if I am not battling enough issues already , there had to be another wedding this week end where their colors are black white and pink : my colors. This wouldn't be a problem if the guest weren't almost going to be the same. 2 close weddings have already used this colors palette .  To make matters worst this wedding  had damask linens .My invitations are going to be with hot pink damask and black pocketfolds. I know wedding arent usually that unique but i wasn't wanting that much similarities either . At this point , only minors things were bought in pink shades ( ribbons , ring bearer pillow ) . So i am turning to you bees for advice. If you were in this sistuation: Would you change your colors ? Would you keep it ?  I really love pink though . My other favourite color is aqua but aqua is kind bright if you have more than 1 person wearing it , plus Dear fiance doesnt like it.

    Thank you bees .

I love the idea of incorporating aqua.  Aqua and pink can be really cute together especially if you use some lighter shades of pink .  What if you do Aqua, Pink, & White and use black as an accent?  I wouldn't worry too much about the invitation similarities.

Could you change the shade of pink? If you love it, I wouldn't get rid of it all together. Or like PP said, you can add little touches of aqua, that would make it more unique from the other weddings.

My Bridal Shower was the colors in the middle image and it turned out so pretty. I picked them, because my MOH asked me to. So, adding the aqua accents would work.

Darker aqua, like teal isn't too bright.

I agree with the PP's.  If you absolutely love pink you should keep it.  I like the idea mjameson83 had about incorporating the aqua.  That idea board is fabulous.

@mjameson83:Love the inspirations boards .I will show them to Dear Fiance when i got home . I think incorporating the aqua might be the way to go . 2nd inspiration rocks .

@2ndtime: Both ladies used the various shades of pink , otherwise it is a beautiful idea as well .

I love the colors pink and brown, pink and orange, pink and aqua or turquoise.  There are SOOOO many ways you can make it different and unique without completely going away from your original colors.  GL!!!
