Haha yeah by now I think of everything in wedding terms so when people say STDs I think 'save the dates'.
Oh my gosh, yes. But I'm a five year old inside and still think fart jokes are funny and "crap" is my favorite word (as in, what the crap?) and I play in a kickball league. Yes, I said kickball. Told you I'm five. :D
LOL YES! I totally laugh at STDs every time!! I'm still lost on half these abbreviations... I just make up my own words for them... haha.
when I first got to weddingbee and saw everyone saying "check out my stds!" I was a little horrified...then saw what it actually was and have been laughing every time someone uses it. im still the "hee hee 69!" jokes kind of person so yea i giggle too.
@Laylabelle: my first practice for my kickball team in a league is tomorrow! im 5 too ;)
I still dont know what DH means. I think of FH watching baseball designated hitter?
There was a thread about it a while back and still no one knew!
In an email i sent tot he DJ i told him FMIL told me about him- He told me he googled it and now he is UTD on the wedding talk!
Isn't DH Dear Husband? That's what I always thought.. It reminds me of Designated Hitter too though lol.. I still laugh at STDs too.. Sometimes when I haven't checked the site in a while my brain goes out of wedding mode so that when I see a post like "Check out my STDs!" it makes me giggle a little :)

I have had to catch myself numerous times, in the regular world, saying STDs to people. I don't think anyone else would understand me passing out my STDs to them.......LMBO!!

I was quite confounded by STDs too! Still makes me giggle whenever I see it.
Haha all the abbrevations make me laugh, and I always show them to my FI and he just looks at me shakes his head and says weddings make girls go crazy, and really live in a secret sub society all wedding related lol
I was pretty confused by STD when I first joined!
I have to confess, I hate DH. Dear Husband? Really? I don't know anyone who says that in real life.
When I was discussing wedding plans with family last night, I kept saying STDs and the first time, they looked HORRIFIED. it was priceless. I am glad I am aware of what it all means though!

Nickynick the list rocks, I too had a lot of trouble when I first ventured into wedding-board land! It is like going to a foreign country you don't speak the language ;)
