Hello Ladies - my fiance and I just booked our venue and will now start paying loads and loads of money to all of our different vendors over the next year.  We heard its really wise to A) open up a seperate bank account to take care of ALL wedding related costs and B) to use a credit card with great rewards to pay all of your wedding bills.  We are hoping to find a credit card/bank with rewards that can get us some free plane tickets for our honeymoon.  Has anyone done this yet?  Have any recomendations for a super rewards program.  If we're going to be spending a TON of money over the next 11 months on our wedding, I feel it would only be appropriate that we score sweet free stuff out of it!!

Thanks in advance for all of your help!!!

Chase has a rewards credit card with no interest for 12 months. I would check that out!

http://www.creditcards.com/ is the best place to go if you are looking for a specific type of card. It breaks down every situation and gives you the best to choose from.

Good luck with the planning! We opened a separate account as well. I hooked up points with my debit card, so every dollar I spend I earn two points. Those add up when you're thinking about wedding money! In the end we can choose from a catalog of items like plane tickets and vacations.

Something to look for when you get a "rewards" credit card...no annual fee! It's not worth it if you have to pay an annual fee. Go for the ones that offer no fees and no interest for 12 months. Those are your best bet.
