@MissMeowMeow: Sorry, I’m really no help because I’m in the same boat! Feels like just yesterday I was saying I had 200 days left and now I have 69.. I HAVE NOTHING DONE lol.

@MissMeowMeow:  We signed the contract for the rehearsal dinner only about a month ago and then procrastinated ordering the dinner invitations until yesterday morning! I really hope that the proof comes back looking nice or we lose more days in our timeline. I was hoping that we’d have them back in the next 2.5 weeks, but we don’t even have time to get the envelopes calligraphed because our calligrapher needs a months notice. At this point though, the FI was like “who cares, at least the save-the-dates and wedding invitations had calligraphy!” lol.

Ahhh, yes! Wedding anxiety is in full force!!

We’ve got all our major things squared away.  This month we are doing a tasting for our menu, and we are sending out our DIY invitations on Wednesday. Then, we have to get to work on designing our programs, and all the other paper items that we need.

I finally found a pair of shoes that I LOVE this weekend and FI thinks I’m crazy because I was so excited to have found them.  Plus, they were only $7!! (Black, peep toe, satin, 2″ heels from Payless…DEAL!)  I still have not had any alterations done because the place that will be altering it does really fast work, so I am putting it off so I can tone up and drop a couple pounds this month.

We are almost done with finishing the centerpieces.

I think the only major things left are to construct our faux-to-booth and gather all the props together for that.  We also need to order the few things we’ll be renting.

I had my shower this weekend so I’ve been in waves of anxiety. We’re also sending out invites this week so that’s another thing.

As for getting stuff done though… everything is done. Guest book was purchased last week, dyi is pretty much done, everything is booked and good to go. Just the little stuff like the limo and finalizing our hotel block rooms are left to do.

I guess we just need to wait.

I feel like I don’t have anything to do right now, which worries me that I may be forgetting some things… I have done absolutely nothing for the rehearsal dinner, so I guess I should start planning that!!

I also have some DIY projects to finish, but I live in a small town and the only “craft store” is 3 aisles in Walmart, and they are sold out of a bunch of stuff, so I’m just waiting…

@MissMeowMeow:  Yep!  We can’t seem to stick with a date for more than 24 hours and I’m getting mental whiplash since I can’t do much with the rest of the planning til that is completely nailed down.  Hoping we’ll have it officially set in the next day or so but we aren’t waiting very long (he woke up and suggested august this morning…) so I’m having a mild conniption.  We’re not doing anything super elaborate though so it shouldn’t be too bad, but still… arrrrrgh!

Yep, 62 days to go and had a meltdown on saturday. Over trying to find someone to do hair and and makeup, there were a lot of tears. So much still to do its unbelieveable….but everyone keeps telling me I’ve ‘got all the big things done’ yep…..but what about all the millions of little things.

Need chocolate. But its banned. Wedding planning is tough!

@SoonToBeMrsD921:

@MissCountryGirl727:

Did you guys do an initial tasting with your caterer? We did a free tasting a year ago when we booked but nothing really stood out of us (our caterer runs a restaurant and we’re huge fans of the restaurant). We’re meeting with them this thursday to actually put together a menu and they’re charging us $36/pp to do this. Are your caterers charging you for your final tasting?

@atlbride2013:  Hey there 🙂 We went to see 6 venues prior to booking ours and none of them offered a free tasting. I think my area has basically done away with that. I’ve only heard good reviews of our venue, so I am crossing my fingers here lol. We will not be charged for our tasting tomrorow though.
