All about fun! I mean, do you think it’s appropriate that my friend Ed is going to serande (karakoe style!!) to the tune of "Total Eclipse of the Heart"? I am pretty sure Ms. Manners would say no. But I don’t care!! It will make people laugh and it will help make my day that more special.

Seriously, FI and I are all about the fun. For our reception we’ll probably go heavier on the "traditional" reception songs to begin the night (Electric Slide, Shout, etc) , but we’d like the 2nd half of the reception to transition to much more current stuff (with some 80s mixed in for the guy.) I figure the older people will most likely be gone by then and the younger crowd will still be there. As a guest at a wedding who LOVES to dance, there is nothing I hate more than crappy music. I’ve been to 2 weddings this summer that would have been so much better if they had more interesting music choices. And talking to my DJ, he hates playing all of the "standard" stuff over and over.
