We just went to a Sandals wedding in December. It was definitely fun, the bride was super relaxed and she really liked the fact that she could just show up and it was all done for her. They really take care of their wedding couples too, and they’re so experienced that everything goes like clockwork. That being said, there were a few drawbacks. The wedding was in the middle of the resort so there were a few people who we didn’t know watching. It was also right by the pool so it was a little noisy. I don’t know if this was the bride’s choice or not, but her bouquet also wasn’t exactly the most…up to date? bouquet I’ve seen (it was in a plastic bouquet holder with curling ribbon and carnations). Then again, I don’t know what the other options were, so I’m not sure if this was normal or what. The wedding planner also was asking me questions during the ceremony (how would I know which sand she wanted and which he wanted for the unity ceremony??), which I thought was *really* weird.

The food and service was really good though, and the photo ops were wonderful!

I know that Couples (http://www.Couples.com) also does weddings, that’s where we’re honeymooning: Couples Swept Away in Jamaica. The wedding packages look pretty nice, and you get a lot more for your money at Couples than you do at Sandals.
