- Wedding: May 2014
just had my wedding earlier this month and wanted to share some vendor information.
If you are hiring caterers I highly recommend JPO concepts. They were the most economical for upscale food and did an amazing job setting up the venue and decorations. For cake I recommend City Sweets and Confections. For flowers, The Rose Garden, Miguel was so affordable and did an amazing job with the flowers (13 centerpieces and 5 bouquets for about $975). For DJing and uplighting I recommend Color Blind Productions…again super affordable and did a fantastic job. If you are having a small wedding then consider W Loft…it has a skyline of Manhattan and a roof top…it was simply breathe taking. For makeup I recommend Makeup by Xiomara, she did an excellent job and her price was very reasonable. For a cellist I recommend Richard Vaudrey…for an hour he charged $100 and did a great job during my ceremony (he resides in Brooklyn so not sure if he would charge a different price for different borough). My officiant was Brother Mike Lopez, he did a great job the day of the ceremony and during rehearsals. For photography I can’t say enough about Alex Kaplan, he did such an amazing job was super affordable (6 hours $900).
