So I have been trying to decide what kind of wedding band to go with and I’m fairly certain I’ll have to have one custom made because of the shape of my ering. My question is: should I get a rose gold rope spacer ring that is shaped to my ering and will allow me to get a straight diamond wedding band? Or should I get a diamond wedding band that is shaped to fit around my ering? The first pic is of my ering for reference. The second pic is a poorly drawn interpretation of what I think a spacer ring + straight wedding band would look like and the third is a poorly drawn interpretation of what I think just a wedding band shaped to fit around my ering would look like. Please excuse my lack of artistic ability and try to use your imagination!! I love the idea of having a stack of rings and mixing white and rose gold, but I don’t know if the three rings would be too thick and look odd…thoughts?

Apparently it didn’t post my pics, here they are:

I think given your lovely e-ring takes up a lot of finger real estate I would stick to the one custom band huggng it.
You can create a fun mixed metal stack for your right hand if you love the look.

I also agree with a custom curved band

I would also do a curved band

definitely the second or else it will be too thick.

I’m going with all PPs on this one, the curved wedding band for sure! Your e ring has a lot going on that I think adding a space in a different metal with just throw the whole look off!

I agree with everyone above as well i am not fond of the spacer at all I would get a fitted band that stood out in some way from ering by color of metal or stones size/shape

Just the band. No spacer.
I think with the spacer it will look too thick.

I think everyone here is right- I’m leaning toward just a curved diamond band that fits up against the ering, what do you all think about doing it in rose gold though? I want it to coordinate with the ering but also stand out on its own. And do you think I should get something very thin and delicate like the outer layer of the ering or something a little thicker to stand out more, like the drawing?
