I think you’ll have more flexibility if you get a simple band. Your e-ring is gorgeous, but there may be times when pink just does not go. So, you can just wear your band and leave your e-ring at home. That wouldn’t be the case if you got the sapphires in the band, too.

Beautiful ring!  Go with what you want, IMO, the sapphires in the band to match will make it too matchy-matchy.

My set is a 3 stone ring, diamond in the middle, a blue sapphire on each side. I actually really like the way it looks with just the plain band. Had the choice also of sapphires, but honestly, I just had to follow my heart. I think you should to!

@MelBan:  I think color in the e-ring OR the wedding band but not both. Just my personal preference 🙂

@MelBan:  Maybe this jeweler leans towards a match having all the elements of one ring put into the other, and is being a bit aggresive in selling that idea to you, but what’s important is your vision of it and that it feels right to you.  I fully agree with you in not taking away from your ring, I would definitely add a band that showcases its beauty.

I voted for a simple band.

I like the jeweller’s idea and love your ring, but I personally wouldn’t want pink sapphires in both my ERing and my wedding band.

If you don’t want pink sapphires in your wedding band, then don’t get them.  Don’t let the jeweler push you into something that you don’t want or are uncomfortable with.  You’re the one who is going to be wearing it forever!

@MelBan:  Simpler usually tends to be better in my opinion.

I think this band from bluenile would be beautiful!! And it’s only $505!
