Here is a picture of my ering (a 1.32 carat solitaire in a cathedral setting:
I have two options, one is from a local jeweler:
and the other is from an etsy shop (a jeweler based out of hong kong:
I have no idea what direction to go! The local jewelers ring could be $1500 tops (per ring, since I want two) and the hong kong ring will be $1,000 each.
The local jeweler ring is .50 tcw with 7 stones (and I’m not sure what the band width is) and the hong kong one is .54 (with 15 stones) and a 2.20 mm band. My ering band is palladium and it is important that I have matching wedding bands (these two jewelers can make their rings in palladium)
I like the idea of the bigger stones, but I’m also seem to be more drawn to the shape of this other ring.
Any ideas, thoughts or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

i like the first one with 7 stones.

I like the second one. Especially if you plan on not getting your rings soddered because they will probably spin. Also I suspect the first one is thicker than the second, and two 2.2mm rings plus your ering is already a lot of mm on one finger. At least it would be for me.

I like the larger stones better too. I am now wishing I had gone that route. But hey, there’s always time for an anniversary band! 🙂

I think the two rings are equally lovely, but I’d vote to support the local jeweler.

I may end up soddering them because one bad thing about prong settings is that the diamond can rub against the erings prongs and wear them down. I forgot to say that my ring size is 6.5, I’m about 5’10-very tall/lean.
