Wow. I’d say you’re pretty much screwed if you don’t want either or. How about a nice, thick wedding band and wear your ering on your right hand?

@MsGinkgo:  Can you fit a flat band underneath the setting and flush with the shank?  I would suggest what I got–a plain flat band.  I love that look!

@MsGinkgo:  It looks high enough for a band to sit flush, no??

My ering is verrrry similar to ur and my wedding band is a straight band with a diamond curved band over it… So no gap, still traditional looking band

I have surprise stones that I didn’t want covered up, so I got a super skinny rose gold band to wear in between my ering and eternity band. I love the way it looks and I love that I can see my rings profile from both sides.

@MsGinkgo:  You just need to try some on in the store.  I LOVE plain bands with blingy e-rings.  I just really don’t like domed plain bands.  Flat bands are the way to go!

@MsGinkgo:  Just keep going into stores and trying on bands. I went to one store and they kept pushing a custom band that would have cost near 2,000 without even knowing exactly what it would look like! So I def passed on that. Then, I went to Zales and the girl asked what I liked and disliked, I told her that I don’t want a gap, I want to stay under 1000, I love the traditional plain band but also love bands with diamonds, and that I like the idea of criss crossed bands… she grabbed this one and I loved it. So, go into a bunch of stores and explain exactly what you like and dislike and see what they come up with and try them on! You never know until you have it on with your Ering! Good luck, love your ring :))
