My fiance bought me a custom engagement ring, princess center stone, 2 smaller round stones in a 10 stone round channel set band.  I am having a hard time finding a wedding band that isn't a custom made one to match for $1,200-$1,300.  I'm really not looking to spend that much for a band.  When I went to jewelry stores the only thing they suggested were 1 ct total weight channel wedding bands.  Is there anything else I can do with this ring that isn't a channel setting that will cost me $1,000+??  Also I have very small fingers (size 4 1/2) so I feel like my engagement ring plus a matching custom channel set is very big for my finger.

    HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Here is a picture of my ring

Well if you wanted something simple you could always go for a plain band. It sounds like you might want a little bling though. If that is the case see if you can get a smaller tw channel band? Maybe just have a band with a few diamonds on top? Or do a thinner pave band? I don't think that your wedding band necessarily has to "match" your wedding ring.

If you don't mind not having any "sparklies" I second the plain band. Your e-ring is plenty shiny and I don't think that it will look bad to have a plain band.

I'm just worried if I don't match the band it will look funny.  I tried on a band with small diamonds that was probably half the thickness of my ering and the jeweler told me it didn't look good.  Whenever I look at plain bands the jewelers always give me these super thick bands to match my current band thickness which I don't necessarily want to duplicate.  This has been one of the biggest headaches so far!!

tfurgason - I also have 4.5 size ring finger, and I have to say that the matching band looks fabulous. There's just something about matching that makes it look so nice.

I think you need to tell the jeweler to go stuff it! You want what you want! They want to sell you something bigger so that you spend more money! If you think half the width looks good with your ring, then great! It's about what you're comfortable with!

My band is 7 round diamonds in semi-bezel set...that might also look nice next to yours!

2PeasinaPod - do you have a picture of your band with your engagement ring by chance?  If not, a picture of what you are describing...I quickly browsed and had a hard time finding it.  Thanks :)
