I’m in the same boat, my ring is very similar. I think I’m going to just get a straight band and rock the gap. I don’t like curved bands or ones that zig-zag around the ring. The only other option I would consider is getting a notch taken out of the basket and having them soldered together. Some people just go bandless with emerald cuts.

@Mehluhnee:  I am also a bride with an interesting ring in search of the perfect wedding band! Through my own experience, no webpage or picture will be the same as when you go into the store and just try on a bunch of wedding bands! Through looking online at jewelers webpages, I thought I had found the perfect band! But when I went to the store and tried it on along with my ring ::blech!:: it was awful!!!!!!

So in a nutshell, my opinion is to just go to the store and make time to try on some rings!! πŸ™‚ It’ll be a great experience, and much more helpful than looking online and hoping a band will match your ring!

Good Luck!!

@Mehluhnee:  Yeah that does look nice, you just can’t wear the band alone :/

@Mehluhnee:  I might be biased (nuh uh, no way!), but if your center stone is the color I think it is, a rose gold band would look sooooo pretty. I’m one for plain bands, especially when the engagement ring is…is blingier the right word? I’m not good with the lingo. But when they’re more. More than a simple solitaire. You know, so the band doesn’t take away from the ring. But I totally think the rose gold would look incredible with it. I’m also a fan of the gap, which I don’t think you voiced opinion against, so in my imagination, the plain rose gold band is the perfect match. πŸ˜€

BEAUTIFUL, by the way.
