So I’m looking at wedding bands, and I have fallen in love with these two pieces. Can’t decide whether to go with the guard or go traditional and go with the one band. I think they both look lovely. What do you think?Guard or band? I’d appreciate your input.

Less is more. I like the traditional band and think the guard overwhelms your finger.

I think I prefer the single band… IMO the guard and the band are just over the top.

You have beautiful, long fingers so you can rock the big bling! I’d go with the guard – it’s stunning on you.

@Baroness_Meg: Thank you for your input ladies. Over the top and over whelming definitely is not what I envisioned wearing, something about the bling just enticed me though. haha.
@chloees_mom: When I tried on the guard the friends I had with me fell in love with it when I took my fiancé to see it he said it was ravishing, he even offered to buy it that same day.
Of course couldn’t do it because I wasn’t sure, so now I find myself not being able to decide.

I think both are beautiful but I like the guard best. I think it highlights the engagement ring because of the small gaps in between. It looks perfect and balanced on your long fingers.

I much prefer the band. It looks as though it “fits” with the e-ring, like they were meant to be together, if that makes sense.

@Future_MrsSantana: I’m kind of a less is more kinda girl and not into so much bling (read: biased). I find the amount of bling with the guard is a little overwhelming. However, it is a personal choice. Which are you more comfortable wearing and which do you see yourself happy with 30 years from now?

I really like the look of the guard! It is so opulent. I love it

I think both are beautiful. I prefer the single band- it just seems to fit the e ring better. I’m certainly no ring expert at all, but IMO the guard just doesn’t look like it fits the e-ring. I could be totally wrong, I’m really not sure how guards are supposed to fit around the e-ring.
