I recently went wedding band shopping and I found a ring that I really like, but I didn’t take any pictures, so I don’t have any to attach to this post. My e-ring is a bit unusual, with a baguette then a round on either side of the center stone.
I have two main questions. Is less than $700 a reasonable price for a wedding band with diamonds in it? Also, is it ok to buy the wedding band from a different jewelry store than the engagement ring? My engagement ring came from a smaller, locally owned jewelry store and their wedding band selection is very small. Any wedding band advide is much appreciated!

I think less than 700 is great, but it depends on metal and carat weight and also if it half, 3/4 or full eternity band. I don’t think there is a set price for a band, I feel it’s what you feel comfortable spending. I would also check online and other sources.

I’m looking into something like this, and I know it’s going to be over $1000. We are gonig to the same jeweler where my e ring came from, but you absolutely don’t have to. You may get a better deal for being a return customer. Can you post a picture of what you had in mind (Pinterest or Google search for something similar)?

I saw a wedding band that I thought would really suit my e-ring and it was $1990! A lot of the diamond bands I had seen were around the $2K mark and a plain band was about $950.
I think $700 is pretty awesome!

I paid lots for my wedding band, because I had it custom-made in platinum 🙂 I loooooove it! $3000, yikes!!
For me, one advantage for purchasing the w-band at the same store as the e-ring was that the combined warranties allowed me to solder them for free. The maintenance and inspections (twice a year) are done at the same store. To me that’s a huge advantage.

@MarriedtoMedSchool: it really depends on the amount of diamonds and weight of the gold/platinum in this band so $700 may or may not be a good deal. can you find the ring specs online to compare pricing?
