I’m currently trying to decide on my wedding band(s). As of right now I am leaning towards the set that is pictured. Do the two bands work with my e-ring? Does it look okay with the bands being different widths? Or should I get two of the same width? Or maybe just one rather than two? I’d love your opinions!!
ETA: If I go with two bands we won’t be getting both at the same time. Probably the thinner one for the wedding and the thicker one for a first anniversary gift.

@spicyshimmer: your ering is stunning. love it. i prefer the thinner band with your ering b/c it’s close to the same size as your ering band.
i don’t care for the 2 different sized bands. they are beautiful individually but they look too uneven for me together. perhaps if they were straight and stacked it may look different but curved around your ring, no. go with both of the same size if you want 2 bands.

@mypinkshoes: Thanks! Yeah, I would honestly prefer the bands to be straight but unfortunately the way my e-ring is designed a straight wedding band will not sit flush against it, and I just wouldn’t be able to stand that.

@spicyshimmer: Your ring is gorgeous and you are on the right track!
I think it would look BEST with the one thicker band on the bottom (alone). Gorgeous!
If you want the double band look, I would go for two of the thinner bands. The reason I don’t like the double band look is that it really reminds me of the look below, which I’m not a fan of.

I think you’re on the right track, but I don’t like either band with them. I don’t like the gap around your center diamond. I think it looks off. Have you tried a spacer band? Ive seen rings that have a soild, thin band between their E-ring and their wedding band and it looks good. Maybe something like that?

Oh wow, where did you find these two gorgeous contour bands?? I couldn’t find any that worked with my e-ring so I had a similar one custom-made. Your band options have the contour type I love. They leave some space between the band and the shank, while still hugging the centere stone and touching on the sides.
I would do either two thin bands on either side or the larger one alone.
Here is my band for reference. So similar in style as yours, but with a larger center basket 😉

I would say 2 thinner bands..I do not love the look of 2 different sized ones but with 2 the same, it would be stellar! Wedding band shopping is so hard (just did that myself this weekend)…good luck! 🙂

thanks, I’m actually starting to lean towards the thicker band by itself. I don’t think I’ll be a fan of the two thinnée bands together since the thinner band creates more of a gap.
@Scintillante: they were two of the first bands I tried at the local jeweler where we got my e-ring. Your ring set is very pretty!
@lovelyMsValentine: hmm I’ll try a spacer to see what it looks like but I’m not sure that would really fix the gap problem I have with straight bands, would it?
@Britt214: I agree, band shopping is really difficult!!
