I think they are both very pretty, but I personally do not like the look of them together.  I feel like they are not very complimentary to one another.

MrsEH:  I really like it. I especially love the milgrain detail.

I’m not a fan of the two together. I went through the same issue you’re going through. I had to change my wedding band because I wanted something that compliments my engagement ring rather than takes away from it or blends into it. Both are beautiful just for me I don’t like them together. Good luck!

The wedding band appears to be higher height wise than the shank of your ering. Is that so?  If that’s the case I prefer both bands to be nearly identical in height and width to help balance. Take this advice with a grain of salt because my attention to detail is making band shopping a challenge for me.  Try a similar style band that matches up smoother with your ering.

MrsEH:  i would try some different micropave and shared prong diamond bands.   a rope/twist  band could look good too.  you will probably have to try them on with your ring to see which look best.  best of luck!

MrsEH:  I think they don’t compliment each other because of height difference. If they sat flush, I think they’d look how you wanted. Simple yet unique. I really love the  pairing,  very unique and classic

MrsEH:  I definitely prefer the channel set band. Have you tried on a shared prong band? They are STUNNING and look very elegant paired with a solitaire

I have a simple platinum band for my diamond RHR (family heirloom from the 1920’s or so). They’re soldered together and then it has diamonds holding it together. I love the channel set band though–very pretty.

I like it with the Chanel set band. I’d recommend a little bit thinner though, closer to the width of your ering band.
